127. Aisha Praught-Leer, Pro Runner
There's something about this conversation with Aisha Praught-Leer that makes me feel all fuzzy. Sure, she may be married and an Olympian, but I think it has something to do with the fact that we're both two women in our thirties going through similar struggles. In episode 127, the steeplechase athlete, turned middle-distance runner talks to me about hitting her stride in her sport on the later side, and what it was like to pivot on the track. We also chat about her fueling strategy, the newfound appreciation she has for her body and fluctuating in-season versus off-season, and what life's like in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. We also connect on the importance of good friendships (and how to form deep connections) later on in life, and how hers inspire her to be a better human — on and off the track. A big thank you to her sponsor at CamelBak for helping to set us up.
